What is the questionnaire?
The questionnaire is a form we require before showing properties. It allows us to gather a minimal amount of information that will help us to determine what properties you may qualify to lease. The full application must be completed before a tenant is approved to lease any property.
Do you charge a application fee?
We do charge a $50.00 application fee, but there is no charge to fill out the questionnaire. The questionnaire helps you find out if you qualify before you fill out the full application.
What can I afford to rent?
In most cases we require proof of income to equal 3-4 times the amount of rent.
How much is the security deposit?
Your security deposit is equal to one month’s rent and is due at lease signing.
How much money will I need to lease a property?
You will first need to pay a $50 application fee for processing. If you are approved, you will need to pay one month’s rent and the security deposit in order to move in.
Why would my application not be approved?
Although these are not the only reasons, the most common reasons are because of:
- not telling the truth on the application
- not enough income
- no employment history
- prior evictions
Do you cut the grass?
As a tenant, it becomes your responsibility to maintain the lawn. Lawn care is not included in the price of your rent, but we do provide lawn maintenance for additional fees. If that sounds like something that interests you, we can work out the details when you decide to contact us.
Do you allow pets?
In most of our properties, we do not allow pets – not inside and not outside – but in some properties the owner will allow pets. In that case we will also need to get info on the pet, and a pet deposit will be required.
What if I have a maintenance problem?
For all maintenance issues you should submit a maintenance request form.
